CREAM OF THE CROP SELECTED FOR BEAUTY BOOT CAMP.

It was really a long and arduous day at Sunway Lagoon Hotel in Petaling Jaya, which started as early as 7.00am in the morning and concluded close to 9.00pm at night, last Saturday, 14th May 2011. It was hard not only on the hundred qualifiers who made it to the call back auditions, but also on the entire crew and also the judges, made up of pageant director & former winner Andrea Fonseka, popular actor Hans Isaac, industry heavyweight Julia Dolmatova, and radio hotshot Phat Fabes, who had to deliberate thoroughly and carefully throughout the day to find the best of Malaysia. It was a day marked with shrieks and screams of joy, and the whimpers of tears and despair. At the end of it all, the cream of the crop that impressed the judges, successfully made the final cut, to progress to the next stage of the competition - The Beauty Boot Camp.

We can't tell you just yet, who these gorgeous ladies are, and what they will encounter at the next stage, but be assured its going to be quite a ride, and a big first for beauty pageants in Malaysia. All will be revealed soon, so do stay tuned here as we take you step by step through, the best ever Miss Universe Malaysia pageant ever staged in this country.
